The KERADOUCE® rod coating Douce Hydro’s Innovation and Unique Technology KERADOUCE® G1
Developed by Douce Hydro Research & Development team, the KERADOUCE® coating is a multilayer coating, water proof and very hard, which is applied on the rods of hydraulic cylinders, and has an excellent corrosion resistance. It is homogeneous, uninterrupted, non-conducting, flexible enough to support functional rod bending, and ecological.
The KERADOUCE® coating is our answer to a growing demand from our customers for hydraulic cylinders that are working in very harsh environmental conditions such as:
Douce Hydro benefits today of over 17 years of experience of this coating in the field with many references all over the world. It will gradually replace all other coatings such as nickel and chrome.

*************************************** RETROFIT / REPAIR : The Keradouce® coating is also available for the retrofit of existing cylinders with any type of steel and rod coating (chrome, nickel-chrome …). You can send us either your rods or your complete cylinder. We will remove the old coating (chrome, nickel-chrome and other coatings) and we will re-apply our Keradouce® coating.
MEASURING SYSTEM WITH KERADOUCE®: Along with the Keradouce® coating, Douce Hydro has developed the SMIK® rod measuring system, which works exclusively with Keradouce® coated rods. Other type of measuring systems are also available.
